Why offer one day workshops?

We offer one day workshops because often that it is all the time (and expense) people can spare to explore a particular topic.  We do believe however that in an interesting and informal day we can usually provide an informative overview of the topic, some new skills or tips, a real chance to network and share, and really explore your own views and attitudes towards the topic.

We also provide workshop attendance certificates* that build up your portfolio or will support your professional development with whichever organisation you belong to. 

We are currently exploring the possibility of developing a two day course for supervisors working with counsellors of adolescents, a five day course offering a comprehensive guide to setting up and running a school counselling service, and some personal development and workshops later in the year.

* Certificates of attendance are only issued to participants who attend the full-day and complete and evaluation form.
